This books collects the songs used in horse racing, hunting, fishing, archery, hawking , cricket and a variety of other pursuits along with commentaries putting them in context. This copy belonged to Bayard Tuckerman, Jr. , who was a horsebreeder, owner, rider and one of the founders of Suffolk Downs. He was also a well-known breeder whippets. "Comprising an Extensive Collection of Scarce, Curious, and Original Songs and Ballads, Relative to Field Sports . . . . . ".

Spine missing, but all other parts present, but covers detached, and content is separated into 3 parts. Text free of extraneous marks but with some age toning to edges. Plates clean but with age toning, and some with light damp staining, to margins (nothing affecting plates).
