Some of the story's setting is Peru. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are a little darkened and softened. The pages are lightly tanned. DJ: The spine panel a…nd reverse side have darkened. The back and spine panels have overall soiling from handling and shelf wear. The other panels are much less thus. The front panel's illustration has a linear 3/8 in. rubbed spot and a linear, intermittent, 1 1/2 in. rubbed spot. The ends of the spine panel and the flaps' folds are chipped.
