Internally end pages with some age toning/ foxing and a previous owners gilt inscription inked to 1st free endpage and a bookseller ticket to bottom edge of inside front board. Otherwise, aside from some foxing to 2 folding plans, a good, solid clean copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact. .

With eight coloured plates two Plans and numerous other illustrations including photographs. The book is printed on glossy paper and has a frontis with tissue guard complete. Some knocks to the corners with rubbing to head and tail of the spine. Internally very clean although end-papers foxed. The front free end-paper has the signature of Keith Simpson M.P dated 1980 when he was the nSenior Lecturer in War Studies and International Affairs at R.M.A. Sandhurst. This book from his private library. A very good copy with an interesting association.
