Some soil, and drop marks on cloth, 1/16th inch fraying at head and foot of spine, rubbed along edges, corners bumped, shaken, fron…t hinge cracked, previous owner's inscription, foxing on first and last few leaves, age yellowed, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp, unmarked. Attractive copy in emerald green cloth with spine lettered and decorated in gilt, engraved frontis by Nast, additional Nast engravings, 348… pages plus publisher's ads. Light rubbing to the extremities, good hinges, firm text block, two pages creased, transparent stain to lower corners throughout extending 1.5 inches in both directions from the corners, a little more toward the end of the book (no musty odor), pages otherwise clean, no names or other markings. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
