Such comments as I have made from time to time are, for the most part, either explanatory, or suggested by subsequent events. My aim has been to make the book readable and popular, rather than statistical and scientific." Covers a little rubbed and rather soiled from handling. one 2 inch closed tear to edge of map and a few edge-chips, minor spotting to map, foxing to endpapers, contents otherwise Good. Lacking the index and advertisements called for by Ferguson.
