Dark green cloth covered boards. Front panel and spine have stamped blue, green and gilt images of a Quebec buildings and trees, and stamped gilt lettering. Upper external page edges are gilt. Boards are clean, panel and spine illustrations are crisp. Cream and green illustrated end-papers. Color frontispiece with tissue-guard. Fold-out map of Quebec with blue and orange outlines at beginning of text. Three additional color plates with tissue-guards and numerous additional pages of b&w photographs. Internally clean, no marks or tears. Text block is very snug. Dust jacket and spine have the same images as those of the book. Jacket is sunned overall, heavier on extremities and heaviest on spine. Shelf wear soil and additional stains on spine and back panel. All folds are creased and scuffed and just barely rubbed throng in several places. Loss at front and back corners at head of spine and both upper fore-edge corners, all with adjacent chips and tears - see photos. Front corner at tail of spine has a 1" closed vertical tear along the front spine fold. The price is listed in small writing on the front inside flap under The Spell Series information.
