There is very minor shel…f-wear to the extremities of the covers, the fore edges to vols. I & II are curling. The bindings are tight. To vol. I, 3 leaves are bound so that their fore edges are slightly proud, 1 diagram as folded is slightly proud of the top edge. The colour plate has a 2.5" tear to a fold. To other plates, some of the folds closest to the gutter are creased. Very occasionally, there are small spots of foxing. Vol. II, a few fold-out illustrations have minor creasing adjacent to the gutter and there is a little bleeding of the blue edging onto the face of the pages at a few corners and fore edges.
