Frontespizio figurato inciso su rame con ritratto di un re svedese incoronato da due angeli, uno dei quali brandente una spada, due figure allegoriche femminili, il blasone dei Re di Svezia. Testatine e capilettera ornati in tecnica xilografica. Antico ex-libris manoscritto al margine superiore del frontespizio. Esemplare assai bello con qualche usuale e leggera brunitura. Seconda edizione, posteriore di due anni alla prima, di questa summa della storia svedese pubblicata con tipi elzeviriani; la prima parte, "geographica et politica descriptio", è composta da Andreas Bureus (1571-1646), mentre le restanti sono dovute alla penna di Henrik Soter (XVI-XVII secolo). The first part, "Geographica et politica descriptio", was written by Andreas Bureus (1571-1646), while the other parts were composed by Henrik Soter (XVI-XVIIth Century).…
