Black and white illustrated plates throughout with colour tipped-in frontispiece. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription and plate taped to front free endpaper. Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages slightly loose. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water marking to spine.

Signed and inscribed by A M Broadly on the front free endpaper. Title page printed in red and black. 8vo. Boards heavily worn, rounded on corners, rubbed and rounded at spine ends, bumped at spine head, dull. Hinges cracked and a little shaken. Heavily spotted on first and last few leaves, faint and occasional spotting throughout. Pencil annotations on rear paste down.
