Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book presents a comprehensive classification system for Freemasonry and related societies. The author, a librarian with over two decades of experience in a masonic library, has developed a scheme that organizes literature on the subject into ten main classes, each further subdivided to suit the specific needs of masonic research. Not only does this system provide a valuable tool for librarians and researchers, but it also serves as a testament to the depth and complexity of masonic history and philosophy. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book, a detailed guide to classifying Masonic literature, has been compiled by the author after two decades of professional experience in the world's largest Masonic library. The proposed classification system was designed to include both general and specialist literature, and provides depth of organization by dividing the subject into ten main classes, each with numerous sub-classes. The result is a system with nearly 400 categories, providing specialist Masonic researchers and librarians alike with a valuable and finely-tuned tool for organizing their collections. Providing not just an organizational system but also a subject index, this book will be of immense value to any institution or researcher looking to develop their knowledge and holdings of Masonic literature. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…

It has a banner inside the front board stating "Property of the Scottish Rite Masonic Library and Museum, Inc.
