Seit 1617 in Paris ansässig.Meinrad von Einsiedeln (um 797 Sülichgau bei Rottenburg / Württemberg - 861 Einsiedeln). Deutscher Eremit, auf den die Gründung des Klosters Einsiedeln zurückgeht. In der Benediktinerabtei der Insel Reichenau zum Mönch und Priester erzogen. Ging 828 als Einsiedler und Eremit an den Etzelpaß. Gründete 835 in Finsterwald (heute Einsiedeln) eine Klause und Kapelle, wo er von zwei Räubern erschlagen wurde. Der Sage nach verrieten zwei Raben, die er aufgezogen hatte, die beiden Mörder, weshalb sie ins Wappen des Klosters Einsiedeln aufgenommen wurden. Links unten signiert Caerel.
