Spine is faded a shade towards gray, while the rest of the boards retain original light blue. Pictorial endpapers. Gutter cracked at half title page, revealing backing linen. No date on the title page. Copyright page dated only 1918. 272 pages. Illustrated with photographs, one or two of which are detached but set back in place. Gutter cracked at page preceding rear endpaper. Overall good condition, but a bit loose & would benefit from a few lines of glue, just to tighten everything up. The author was a Flying Ace in the first World War. Please email with questions or to request photos. If there is a photo beside this listing, please note that it was placed there by ABE without our permission and is likely what they call a 'stock photo' (whatever that is). This volume is part of a large collection of Aviation and Ballooning books, a catalogue of which is available upon request. Most of the volumes have a small pencil notation on the first blank page - the letters KB and a number. Many have Evelyn Kendall's signature as well. Signed by Author(s).…
