Just a sample: Around the turn of the century, an obscure inventor built a new racing car called "999". He hired little-known pro bicycle rider Barney Oldfield to drive it for him in a race. He won at an unheard of speed, a mile a minute. Publicity followed, launching careers for them both. Years later auto tycoon Ford said, "There's no denying it, Barney, but you made me and I made you. " Replied Oldfield, auto racing legend, "Henry, you must admit, I did a much better job with you than you did with me. " Good. No dust jacket as issued. Cover wear, very good spine; moisture damage at lower edge and back cover spine. Tight. 0 0.0.
