Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Discrete data are frequently encountered in the entomological and pathological science of agriculture. The relationship between dose and response has been tested by using the probit and logit anaysis in this book. From the analysis,… LC50, LT50, LD50, goodness of fit, anlysis of deviance, etc were tested. Rsults revealed that discrete dose-response data on entomological study is best fitted by using either log-probit or log-logit regression rather than probit and logit regression only. The detainled on work is present inside the book. I hope it help more for the professionals, researcher, students who involved basically in entomology and pathology of agriculture. 88 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -In recent years, the use of crop model has been increasing exponentially for agro-climatic and site specific resource management to increase the grain yield. Among them, the CMS-CERES-Maize model is one, but, very little academic li…terature exists on how to best utilize the resource using simulation model to optimize the yield in reference to developing countries like Nepal. Best fit (calibration and validation)of model using the available datasets is prerequisites for its application. Site specific management of resources like nitrogen (dose, time and method), water (amount and time), etc. have increased the yield of maize minimizing their losses in field.Likewise, climate of the year, sowing dates, initial moisture content of the field, etc. also significantly affect on the yield performance. From the findings of this study, we concluded that the change in magnitude of climatic parameters creates stress on the limited resource management to increase the grain yield. Further, The analysis should help shed some light on this new and exciting field and should be especially useful to professionals and anyone else involve in agriculture. 132 pp. Englisch.

Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. In recent years, the use of crop models has grown exponentially for agro-climatic and site-specific resource management aimed at increasing grain yield. Among these models, CMS-CERES-Maize is one of the most prominent. However, limited academic literature exists on how to best utilize such s…imulation models to optimize yield in developing countries like Nepal. Calibration and validation using available datasets are prerequisites for effective application. Site-specific management of resources-such as nitrogen (dose, timing, and method) and water (amount and timing)-has been shown to increase maize yield while minimizing losses. Similarly, factors such as annual climate variation, sowing dates, and initial soil moisture content significantly affect yield performance. Findings from this study suggest that changes in the magnitude of climatic parameters can place stress on resource management systems, thereby affecting grain yield. This analysis contributes to a better understanding of this emerging field and may be particularly useful to professionals and others involved in agriculture. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
