This issue with articles on the 1969 CoID Design Awards, Terminal 1 at Heathrow (mostly Conran), Bernat Klein for Margo Fabrics, Plush Kicker jewellery and chairs, plus many fascinating period advertisements. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good -. Tan cloth over boards with gilt particulars to spine and front board. Pages are clean and unmarked; art is bright. Text block is lightly soiled and foxed; decorative endpages are clean and bright. Edges to boards are tanned with light wear to extremities; front board slightly bowed; corners are bumped. Binding is tight and square.

The only defect on the book is former owner's bookplate inside front cover. Dust jacket is price clipped and consists of red laminate and the laminated has bits missing at spine and corners revealing the paper underlay ( protected in archival jacket cover). Cloth designer Bernat Klein provides autobiographical look at his life and how it affected his viw of great color cloths. Colorful examples of his work. 136 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book.

small square 4to.pp. 136 with colour illustrations and endpapers. Off white cloth hardcover in red decorated dust wrapper. The dust wrapper is slightly frayed at the edges now protected. Bernat Klein CBE ( was a Serbian textile designer and painter. Based in Scotland, Klein supplied textiles to haute couture designers in the 1960s and 1970s, and later sold his own clothing collections.
