While this understanding takes on concrete form in her text-based work, such as her word cabinets or neon texts, Huws also tackles the relationship between language and art in other mediums such as . lms, objects and watercolours. In this she sees a relationship between her work and the oeuvre of Marcel Duchamp, which she has researched intensively and is often the subject of her art. Huws' works on Duchamp and the central role of language in both sets of work is the focus of this publication. Alongside numerous illustrations, there are notes by the artist on Duchamp's work, a . lm script, a discussion with Huws as well as texts, introducing individual pieces and linking them to the rest of her oeuvre to date.
