Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. 283 pp. Tightly bound. The burgundy cloth on each of the four corners shows wear. Text is free of markings. Owner's name on front end paper: "Sgt. Elmer L. Catlin Supply Company 101st Field Artillery". The top corners of the pages are bumped not affecting the text or images. There are hand written notes on the next to last blank page at the rear of the book. No dust jacket. This copy is smyth sewn. Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. Each folded signature is sewn together individually with multiple stitches and then joined with other signatures to create the complete book block. This is the traditional and best method of bookbinding.
