A well-written, comprehensive history of the Civil War (albeit entirely from the perspective of the North). Interspersed within the chapters is a "Chronological Summary and Record of Every Engagement Between the Troops of the Union and of the Confederacy," with information on casualties in each battle. 8½ x 11 inches, 512 pages. Slight crease to the upper left corner of the cover. Sales tax will be added to all California orders.
