Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate sunning and tanning, particularly to spine.

Undated but probably 1950 with B&W illustrations; binding tight but slightly discoloured - edges and corners worn, especially spine, which has dulled gilt lettering; page fore-edges yellowed; otherwise, a good, readable copy.
