It revealed some positive points, in particular the fact that the prescription orders are globally correctly filled for the majority of the items. This study also pointed out certain deficiencies, notably the desired dosage of platelets to be transfused as well as the weight of the patients in order to adapt the doses. Continuous training is necessary to ensure patient safety. …
