There ia a small missing piece at the bottom of the spine. Both have been reinforced with archival tape; it is fair plus to good minus. Language: eng.

Grey cloth binding, dark purple spine lettering, magnificent illustrations and full page colour plates throughout, the book is in very good condition with a dedication to a previous owner written in blue pen to the base of the front free end paper. The owner has written a name at the top. The plates (some detachable) all appear to be in fabulous condition. The dust jacket is fair with some general edge chipping and creasing culminating in two moderate tears to the top and base of the spine.
