E. colle due arterie radiali di scarico e di raccordo (Corso Roma e Corso Milano).  Guidini fu un importante architetto di origine svizzera, particolarmente attivo a Milano dopo aver operato anche a Roma e Firenze. Si occupò anche di restauro e conservazione dei monumenti in Lombardia e della sustemazione di Piazza del Duomo. Molti i lavori per committenti privati a Pallanza, Baveno, Stresa, Napoli ecc. Dagli inizi del novecento si interessò di problemi urbanistici quale quello proposto in questa pubblicazione e nel 1911 realizzò anche il piano regolatore di Montevideo. Book.
