Augustin Mannerheim was the son of Johan Mannerheim and his wife Sophie Palemova Treschow (died 1948) and nephew of the Marshal, later President of Finland, Gustaf Mannerheim . His parents moved in 1904 from Finland to Sweden. He died in August, 2011 (from Wikipedia). This copy with a warm and lengthy inscription from the author to Minnesota poet Robert Bly. Laid into the book is a scrap of paper with Mannerheim's Swedish address. Signed by Author(s).
