Contact seller4-star sellerLondon: John W. Parker, 1851. Newlight was the pseudonym of Irish Anglican bishop William Fitzgerald. He wrote over two dozen controversial works on religious doctrine, of which this is decidedly NOT one - which probably explains the pseudonym. Supposedly a recently-discovered manuscript, this anti-Napoleon screed was written as… a satire, with names of major characters spelled in reverse (Napoleon is "Noel -Opan.") Following the text is a supposedly scholarly commentary recounting Noel-Opan's faults and failures. How America fits in, I'm not sure; the piece was too silly for me to finish. But surely there's a great deal here that I'm missing. Bound in printed wrappers which are detached but present. Very good internally. 23 cm. (2), 62, (2 adverts) pp. Newlight was the pseudonym of Irish Anglican bishop William Fitzgerald. He wrote over two dozen controversial works on religious.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Historic Certainties Respecting The Early History Of America: Developed In A Critical Examination Of The Book Of The Chronicles Of The Land Of Ecnarf (1851) is a book written by Newlight, Aristarchus. This book is a critical examination of the history of America, particularly the early hist…ory of the land. The author uses the Book of the Chronicles of the Land of Ecnarf as a primary source for his research. The book is divided into several chapters, each of which focuses on a specific aspect of early American history. The author begins by discussing the origins of the Native American tribes and their migration patterns. He then examines the arrival of the Europeans in America, and their interactions with the Native Americans. The author also discusses the early settlements in America, including the Jamestown colony and the Plymouth colony. He examines the political and social structures of these early settlements, and how they evolved over time.Throughout the book, the author challenges some of the commonly held beliefs about early American history. He provides evidence to support his arguments, and encourages readers to think critically about the history they have been taught.Overall, Historic Certainties Respecting The Early History Of America: Developed In A Critical Examination Of The Book Of The Chronicles Of The Land Of Ecnarf is a thought-provoking book that challenges readers to reconsider what they know about the early history of America. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
