Covers exhibit light wear on spine ends. Moderate bumping and wear on corners. Blind stamped front cover borders and emblem in the middle of the front cover are in fine condition. Light shelf wear and soiling to covers. Gold gilt upper page ends are slightly faded. Light yellowing to inside front and back covers, page ends and texts due to age. There are 2 pages of the introduction that have light underlining. Rest of text and the full page b&w photos are clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. The letters start April 8, 1908 and continue through letter XCII dated march 5, 1909. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-lib unless stated.
