Legatura coeva in piena pergamena, dorso parzialmente restaurato. Ex libris "Jo. Dominici Minatii plebani Serravallis". Fori di tarlo alle pagine 605-690 nella parte bianca interna in a…lto a sinistra. Il tratto rappresenta un "cursus" universitario di Teologia. I primi tre trattati sono opera dell'Ansaldi mentre il quarto è del Natta, entrambi professori all'Università di Torino come risulta a p. 1: ".quem in Regis Taurinensi Archigymnasio scripsi anno 1761. eodem professore. scripsi anno 1762. 1763". Il materiale è stato sicuramente raccolto da qualche discente, verosimilmente da identificare con il nome del professore "Jo. Dominici."Casto Innocenzo Ansaldi (1710-1780) di Piacenza, domenicano, ingeno inquieto, antiscolastico, mostrò presto fastidio alla disciplina e al sistema di studi allora seguito nell'Ordine dei tomisti. Per questo peregrinò da un convento all'altro. Fu in amicizia con gli uomini che rappresentavano la cultura del tempo: G. A. Orsi, G. Fontanini, C. Galiani, Bottari ed altri. Numerose le sue opere storico erudite e filosofiche (cfr. D. B. I., III, pp. 362-365).Di Vincenzo Natta "casalensi" (Casale Monferrato) si conosce solo quanto è detto nella pagina 1: ". Professore R. P. M. Vincentio Natta. Scripsi anno 1763.". L. Torre, nella biografia degli scrittori Monferrini indica un Vincenzo del secolo XVIII. Book.
