Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book presents a very different take on the rules of marriage. The author posits there are really only two rules for a successful marriage: don't put up barriers and choose different hobbies. This book is an insightful, witty, and practical guide to marriage, full of wisdom and common sense. The author delves into the challenges of married life, dissecting the interpersonal dynamics that bind partners together, often frustratingly. Using humor and compassion, the author argues that instead of leading to arguments, friction reveals opportunities for personal growth. Using satire, the author underscores the need to keep the peace, highlighting the importance of compromise and companionship. They also explore the idea of 'propinquity' as a means for couples to strengthen their bonds. By refraining from destructive behaviors, couples can attain a rare and sustainable happiness. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
