Description of all the runs with maps and black and white views throughout. Sun Valley is famous the world over and one of America's premier ski areas and one of its first destination resorts. Built in 1936 by the Union Pacific Railroad, Sun Valley is located in the Northern Rockies region of south-central Idaho and is open year-round.

Hennig was instrumental in exploring the terrain, and his detailed Ski Valley Sun Guide is the earliest skiing guide written for popular use. This copy is nicely inscribed, signed, and dated by Hennig on the title page to one of his students. All edges rubbed with faint wear corners, fine in near fine dust jacket with 2 short closed tears bottom edge and very light edgewear overall, in mylar cover.
