Two works bound in one volume: viii, 368 pages with 25 folding plates; iv, 172 pages with 3 folding plates (numbered 1, 11-12, 13). Text in French. opposite title page bears publisher's authentication signature ('Toutes mes éditions s…ont revêtues de ma griffe') and title page with library stamps. Pages toned and with some foxing/browning. Very good condition overall for its age, see pictures. Sammelband containing two separate works by A. Amiot: 'Solutions Raisonnées' (7th revised and enlarged edition, 1879, Librairie Ch. Delagrave) and 'Applications de la Géométrie Élémentaire' (4th revised and enlarged edition, 1865, P. Tandou). Amiot was professor of mathematics at the Lycée Saint-Louis, Paris; Desvignes was professor at the Collège Chaptal, Paris.
