War of 1812: Extensive material related to his command of the USS Constitution, including the period immediately before its famous victory over the British frigate HMS Guerriere in August 1812. Post-War Commands: Papers covering his command of Navy Yards in Boston, Portsmouth, and Washington D.C., as well as his leadership of the Pacific and Mediterranean Squadrons. Book.
