Paperback. Condition: Good. Al Rudolph has been a member of Toastmasters International for 20+ years. He has entered, and won, numerous speech and evaluation contests. His speaking skills have allowed him the opportunity to present numerous motivational and inspirational speeches to untold audiences. His uncanny ability to capture the attention of his audience members holds true in both the oral and written formats. Al is a shepherd of First Capital Christian Church where he leads and teaches classes pertaining to Christian living. He lives in southern Indiana with his beautiful wife of 39 years, Linda. They have one daughter, Stephanie, who lives in New York City. I ve known Al Rudolph for nearly twenty years and he is the real deal. I have no doubt that the values and principles he writes about in this inspiring book have been lived out in his life. Full of spiritual depth and practical insights, heavy on witty sayings and humor, Al s book is a must-read for anyone committed to growing. Readers will be encouraged, equipped, and eager to put the principles that Al espouses into action in their lives. I highly recommend this delightful new book for anyone with a pulse, who isn t anxious to visit a mortician, and who wants to really revolutionize and fortify their life with powerful, Bible-based character traits. Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. Book Club Edition. When offering Heritage Press books for sale, I usually include a short paragraph about getting value for money in the book trade. How about some great literature, in a well-made example of the bookbinders trade, published with outstanding choices of presentation and illustration, and including the short "Sandglass" note about book and author. Please find a very nice copy, in near fine condition, of: "The Singular Adventures of Baron Munchausen- A Definitive Text" by Rudolph Raspe et al edited by John Carswell with an introduction and illustrated by Fritz Kredel. The "Sandglass" (Number IV-R: 41) is laid-in. Condition: This book in its custom slipcase is in near fine condition. The slipcase is clean and bright without wear or really even any blemishes to its marbled finish. The lettering on the spine of the book is bright and handsome. The hard covers--simulated leather boards-- are flawless, without wear or bumping. The book has a neat bookplate of the former owners (who took great care of their books) on the front endpaper. Otherwise, the book itself is unmarked, pristine and and very handsome. It is not ex-library or a remainder. P.S. There is a whole universe of people who are knowledgeable about the Heritage Press/Club books and their links to the Limited Editions Club. I am offering this book, however, as an example of quality literature in a quality book, one you will enjoy holding in your hand and reading and one that will look great on the bookshelf too (and with the "Sandglass" which takes you into the world of the book trade).
