This book has made an attempt to investigate the issues related to the community earthquake preparedness and emergency management. The preparedness and emergency measures were investigated both at the community and organizational levels. Disasters are still handled at provincial level in Baluchistan and focus more on reactive measures. The disaster management authorities are not implemented at local levels. On the other hand the community is more vulnerable to earthquake hazards.
