'This volume helps the reader and commuter see the treasures below the surface of New York with fresh eyes.' - Charles Whitaker Discover the hidden masterpieces living beneath New York City. But beyond its bustling platforms lies a treasure trove of creativity, including: The elegant Beaux Arts terracotta signs of Heins and LaFarge. Vibrant contemporary installations by icons like Roy Lichtenstein, Yayoi Kusama, Faith Ringgold and Nick Cave. Mosaics, sculptures and murals from world-renowned and emerging artists.
