From Butcher: "Commissioned by Sir William russell Flint who wished to use Cancelleresca Bastarda ast the text typeface. Stanbrook Abbey Press was one of the few printers in Britain possessing this face. Stanbrook made an exception to its general custom of not printing secular works in this case.
