Elle reliait la rue du Pas-Saint-Geo…rges à la place du Palais. C'était l'une des rues les plus pittoresques de Bordeaux, à proximité de la rivière Peugue. Elle disparut au XIXe, avec le percement de ce qui est désormais le Cours Alsace-Lorraine. L'auteur, l'abbé Jules Callen, docteur en théologie, était prêtre dans le diocèse de Bordeaux. On lui doit quelques livres sur l'histoire de Bordeaux, en particulier sur l'histoire religieuse de la ville (tq Saint Seurin de Bordeaux d'après Fortunat et Grégoire de Tours.) Langue: Français.
