Condition: Fair. Original cover, but rejointed by the library and with a library sticker on the front cover. The cover is a dark blue hardback, with partially gilt decorative stamped binding to the front cover and backstrip, and a blindstamp on the back cover. The lettering on the backstrip is also gold. The cover is in fair condition, with slight scuffing to the corners and edges of the covers and to the top, bottom and edges of the backstrip. Additionally, the top of the backstrip is slightly torn, there are some signs of use on the faces of the covers, and the backstrip is slightly discoloured due to a combination of dirt and light exposure. The endpage is split inside the front hinge, but the binding remains firm here and throughout the pageblock. The pageblock is cut, and the leaves are not browned with age. The text is in good condition, with no annotations and other markings and there is no foxing. .This book has hardback covers.
