David Michael Lucas

I spent my early years growing up on a small island in the South Pacific, it was a story-book childhood especially for a young boy, the weather was always nice, the beach was a short walk from my home and my backyard was a real jungle! My mother was tolerant of my incessant desire to collect and bring home creatures from my adventures, she even got used to the geckos that lived on the walls in my bedroom. My father was a nuclear engineer and my mother a proud member of the PTA, I was primarily home-schooled and began a real thirst for knowledge, reading and writing at a young age. I was raised to believe that anything is possible and that you can do or be whatever your heart desires, I had a wonderful childhood and have kept those beliefs alive all these years. I can still be found reading, writing or playing with anything I can get my hands on, as you can imagine I became a successful engineer, as my mother wanted, I followed my fathers footsteps. I love to stare at the stars, am still in awe of nature, love to travel, and am always planning my next adventure.
