David Coad

Dr. David Coad is an educator and scholar of rhetoric and writing who teaches at Santa Clara University in California's Silicon Valley. His research on digital pedagogy can be found in several peer-reviewed jounrals including Comptuers and Composition and Kairos. Central to his work, Dr. Coad mentors students to think critically and ethically about the trajectory of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, social videos, and other digital disruptions. He is co-editor of two full-length books with the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Press. Dr. Coad serves as a curriculum consultant for edtech companies and universities, reviews scholarly work for academic publishing houses and journals, and serves as editor of the acitivities and assingment section of Writing Spaces.
