Alexander Kasprzyk

Alexander Kasprzyk is Reader in Pure Mathematics at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on the classification of Fano varieties - the 'atomic pieces' of geometries - and brings together ideas from algebraic geometry, theoretical physics, combinatorics, and increasingly, data science. As part of this work he has pioneered the use of massively-parallel computational algebra and big data, and is increasingly using machine learning to accelerate the process of human-driven mathematical discovery.
