Damien King

Damien King is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Economics at the Mona campus of the University of the West Indies. Damien is also the Director of the Caribbean Policy Research Institute, a think tank that focuses on public policy issues affecting the Caribbean region.

His research has been in the areas of debt, poverty and distribution, and international trade and he is published in international journals, including the Journal of Development Studies, World Development, and Social and Economic Studies,. He is the co-editor of Debt and Development in Small Island Developing States, published by Palgrave Macmillan.

Damien and his wife, Joan, have three sons.
