Valerio Pascucci

Valerio Pascucci is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute and School of Computing of the University of Utah. Previously, Valerio was a Group Leader and Project Leader in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the University of California Davis. Prior to his CASC tenure, he was a senior research associate at the CS and TICAM Departments of the University of Texas at Austin. Valerio's research interests include scientific data analysis and visualization, progressive multi-resolution techniques, discrete topology, computer graphics, computational geometry, geometric programming, and solid modeling. Valerio is coauthor of more than one hundred refereed journal and conference papers and is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics.
