This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -In a world of increasing cross-media presentation of media content, there is an increasing need for a greater understanding of how audiences perceive and use different media formats to consume the same content. This book analyzes audience preferences for the two dominant media formats - television and the Internet. Applying the Uses and Gratifications Approach to media effects, this study takes the first step toward a greater understanding of how and when the television audience watches programs. In doing so, this book effectively takes audience research and analysis into critical uncharted territory. 124 pp. Englisch.
