Her research interests span public finance, women's empowerment, health economics, and education economics. She has contributed extensively to academic scholarship through research articles, book chapters, and opinion essays published in reputed platforms. She has also worked on an Indian Council of Social Science Research-funded project examining the impact of the Jal Jeevan Mission on rural women's economic activities and quality of life in India. Aneesh K A is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Fellow at the Centre for Studies in Population and Development at Christ University , Delhi campus. He earned his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the Jawaharlal Nehru University , New Delhi. A recipient of the Erasmus+ Programme scholarship, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Global and European Studies Institute, University of Leipzig, Germany . His areas of specialisation include public economics, macroeconomic policy, economics of ageing, and development economics. His research engages with contemporary socio-economic challenges, with a focus on policy-oriented and interdisciplinary approaches to population, welfare, and development studies.
