Synopsis
La Editorial Castalia -a cuyo lanzamiento va unido el nombre de uno de nuestros mayores bibliógrafos y críticos, el señor Rodríguez Moñino- me hace el honor de proponerme la publicación de mis libros de poesía en edición crítica y anotada. Para ello me da a elegir entre proponer el nombre del profesional aquien yo considere más idóneo para estudiar y anotar mi obra o asumir por mí mismo la tarea. Temeroso siempre de dar quehacer al prójimo opto, temerariamente, por la segunda fórmula; y la elijo a conciencia de haber sido un poeta irreflexivo y nada docto, poco impuesto en los problemas técnicos del oficio, aunque haya prosperado el clisé de mi perfección fomal. (...) Mi poesía es, en general, muy autobiográfica. Incluso sus pasajes más objetivistas e influidos por la visión expresan emociones vividas.
