Synopsis
This four-part intermediate Spanish course is designed for students with a working knowledge of Spanish equivalent to O level/GCSE. All the material is suitable for independent learners or for classroom use. The four main texts cover eight topics, and each is accompanied by authentic audio material on cassette. Clear explanations of how Spanish works equip students with the language learning strategies to enable them continually to improve their communication skills. En rumbo provides an invaluable insight into the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Topics covered focus on contemporary living and include: * Book1: hobbies and pastimes * Book 2: health matters * Book3: the arts * Book 4: media and communications Additional material is available to accompany the whole course (see below), including a video filmed in Spain, Mexico and Peru, a drama cassette and a pronunciation booklet and cassettes. Each part (1-4) is available separately as: Student's Book (246x189: 160pp) and Cassette and Transcript: 1x90 min: 32pp, or as a combined Pack (Student's Book/Cassette/Transcript).
