Item description from seller

Item bound in pebbled leather with gilt lettering on front cover. The leather being pressed on to bendable cardstock has deteriorated to the point of non-repair.(former owner brown taped all edges). Some salvage on a new case is possible. So much for condition. The pages toned but free of marks or tears. The importance of this piece is, of course, the inscription and signature of Ingersoll. (Photo) This edition of the testimonial had to have been a very limited item. Possibly less than 50 copies for Ingersoll's closest friends. No mention of this large-paper format is available. It was printed at Burgoyne's Printing Business in New York. No other mention of publication is within these pages. Inscribed to Mrs. Clarence Brown, Oct 21, '90. Walt Whitman attended the event.

Store description

We recently closed our brick and mortar storefront after 27years service, and have joined the legion of "Internet Only" operations. We, of course welcome traveling visitors, and folks wishing to sell quality books, to contact us via phone, email or internet, to set an appointment for viewing and/or discussion. We are dedicated to offering fair value for your book or collection. Informal appraisals are at no charge to the customer. Formal appraisal (documented) charges are based on size and a signed agreement. We strongly recommend the informal appraisal to avoid surrendering your collection to a multi-media boxstore without prior knowledge. Donation recommedations are also available at no charge. We are very interested in your satisfaction. We are a phone call, email, or website visit away, and look forward to hearing from you. Richard & Carol Young / All Booked Up…
