Slim green cloth hard cover with gilt titles on front and spine, and no significant cover wear. This book includes on the first blank page a poem hand written by Blunden and signed October 18, 1945. The poem is entitled 'January Evening' and was written by Blunden in 1914 in Sussex, and is addressed to Madge whose photograph is included.
