Very good with some fading and minor soiling to topstain, and slight shelf wear to boards. A bit of light staining to top edges of last 20 pages, otherwise clean and tight. In a very good dust jacket ($4.00 price intact) with some rubbing to the extremities. SIGNED BY UPDIKE on the flyleaf. Now housed in a fine custom-made cloth slipcase.
