Frontispiece, 20 pp; double-page map of Boston in 1722. Original cloth. Very Good. Inscribed in Warren's hand (Warren's books are sometimes found with inscriptions by others): 'Dr. J.C. Parkinson/with the respects/of the author.' The tree, which had stood for over 150 years, was destroyed on February 12, 1876. See Edward Warren, The Life of John Collins Warren, M. D., Compiled Chiefly from His Autobiography and Journals, 1860, Vol. II, pp. 246-250, with an illustration of the tree between pp. 246-7.
