SIGNED. 246pp. Octavo [21 cm] Salmon-colored cloth over boards. Boards a hair cocked. Spine ends gently bumped. In the dust jacket, with periodic small open tears and chips to the edges. Based on the life of bronc rider Doughbelly Price, 'The Diamond Hitch' paints a vibrant picture of the sunset days of the old west and the cowboys who worked it. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "To____ / with my very / regards, / Frank O'Rourke." Additionally inscribed by Doughbelly Price in the year of publication: "Best wishes to___/ the old (?) / doughBelly Price / Taos N M. Sept - 25 - 1956.".
